    Dear Members,

    As we come together to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you. At Great Hills Country Club, our goal is to provide a place of joy and relaxation where friendships flourish and magical memories are created.

    This past year has showcased our resilience and collaboration, all made possible by your unwavering support and participation. Whether you've been enjoying our golf course, playing tennis, dining in our venues, or joining in our special events, your enthusiasm and camaraderie are what truly bring our club to life. It is your presence that transforms every occasion into something extraordinary.

    Thanksgiving is a time for reflection, and I am incredibly grateful for the vibrant community we've built together. We are excited about the upcoming holiday festivities and look forward to celebrating with each of you. Let us continue to support one another, share in moments of laughter, and create even more unforgettable experiences.

    I also want to share some updates regarding our lower tennis courts. I recently met with our district's elected councilman, Marc Duchen, for a productive lunch and tour of our facility. We discussed the possibility of establishing a pedestrian crosswalk and potential speed bumps to enhance safety for our members crossing the street between the lower courts and the clubhouse.

    Additionally, the Board is considering the addition of mobile restrooms and shaded areas for the lower tennis courts to improve your experience. We are also making progress in negotiations to acquire the property adjacent to the tennis courts, and we are currently awaiting a decision from the City of Austin regarding the conservation zoning for that area.
